England hooker Luke Cowan-Dickie could still play in France next season despite the recent collapse of his move to Montpellier, with Stade Francais thought to be keen on signing him.
Cowan-Dickie, 29, is leaving Exeter Chiefs when his contract runs out at the end of next month and had been left in limbo after his proposed switch to join Sam Simmonds in Montpellier fell through. He had been linked with a move to Sale which would keep him in the Premiership, and the chance to remain in Steve Borthwick’s England squad beyond the World Cup at the end of the year.
