Leicester have snapped up Solomone Kata, who is leaving Exeter after only one season when his contract runs out next month.
Kata, 28, who became Rob Baxter’s fifth signing last pre-season, made 20 appearances for the Chiefs, with one of his five tries coming on his debut against the Tigers in September.
The Tongan international, who plays centre or wing, will be the 14th player the Chiefs are losing this summer and will be the sixth new signing at Leicester.
