Former Bath boss Mike Ford, the father of England fly-half George Ford, has been unveiled as the new owner of Oldham Roughyeds.
Ford was part of a consortium that has taken control of the club that plays in RFL League 1, the third tier of the rugby league pyramid, two divisions below Super League.
Sale Sharks playmaker George, who was born in Oldham and is said to be keen to cross the codes at some stage of his career, will coach and mentor the part-timers.
