London Irish are searching for someone to replace veteran Wallaby star Rob Simmons who is departing the Premiership to join Top 14 outfit, Clermont Auvergne.
Lock Simmons will be 34 next month and has plied his trade in London for the last three years after leaving Super Rugby outfit the Waratahs, and has made over 60 appearances for the Exiles.
Declan Kidney will now double down on his efforts to get a replacement for his West London side. Last week he asked for CVs and will look to complete a signing in the next couple of weeks.
