The RFU could be set for another massive cash windfall with Twickenham on the short list of potential grounds that Premier League Chelsea are looking to use during the redevelopment of Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea announced plans to redevelop Stamford Bridge last summer and spoke to Twickenham bosses about possibly using the 82,000-seat stadium just five years after it was ruled out when it was last mooted.
Twickenham faces competition from Wembley Stadium, but no time scale has been put on the latest proposal, which would be a welcomed boost to the RFU’s piggy bank that ran dry during the pande...
