Munster are locked in talks with Springbok hooker Malcolm Marx about switching from Japanese Top League outfit Kubota Spears to Thomond Park.
World Cup winner Marx, 28, left the Lions in 2019 for Japan joining NTT Shining Arcs before linking up with Kubota Spears is under pressure to return home and was named checked by Bull boss Jake White recently.

White believes that he needs the likes of Marx, right, to compete in the Champions Cup, but Munster have the same idea and have put him at the top of their shopping list for next summer.
