Former England prospect Ali Crossdale could remain in France next season, with Perpignan who could take up a one-year option on the short-term deal he signed last month.
The 24-year-old, who was named in Eddie Jones’ England Shadow squad in 2021, moved across the Channel when he was made redundant when Wasps went into liquidation in October.
Crossdale, who plays at full-back and on the wing, has made two appearances since moving to Perpignan against Toulouse in the Top 14 and then Bristol Bears in the Challenge Cup last weekend.
