Newcastle are closing in agreeing on new deals with England duo hooker Jamie Blamire, above, and winger Adam Radwan (in the featured image) to stay with the club beyond the end of the season.
Both players are in the last year of their contracts. Blamire appeared on Northampton’s shopping list while Wasps were preparing an offer for Radwan shortly before they went out of business.
The Falcons are now believed to be in advanced talks with the pair about new deals, which could be concluded in the next couple of weeks.
