ON THE BLINDSIDE
St Helens enquired about taking former England winger Denny Solomona back to Super League, but Blindside understands that a deal is unlikely to happen.
The 29-year-old had spells in Super League for London Broncos and Castleford Tigers, where he scored a record-breaking 40 tries before switching codes to join Sale Sharks, scoring 46 tries in 98 appearances.
Solomona, who made five Test appearances for England, scoring one try, left the Sharks in 2021 to return to Auckland to join Super Rugby outfit the Highlanders and North Harbour in the Mitre 10 Cup.
