THE departure of Bath chairman Eddie Griffiths last week was certainly welcomed by some of the country’s leading player agents.
Blindside has been told that agents were delighted to see the back of him after it has been alleged they could have been forced out of deals for players renewing contracts.
“It was a tactic used at Saracens, and it was on the cards to happen again,” a leading agent told Blindside after the news broke.
