Nowell close to agreeing new Chiefs’ contract

JACK NOWELL looks set to become the first of the large number of Eddie Jones England squad who are out of contract next summer to sort out their future.
Nowell, along with fellow England Chiefs Luke Cowen-Dickie and Henry Slade, below right, is in the last season of his deal with the Premiership finalists.
Chiefs boss Rob Baxter said in the summer that while the club wanted to keep all three they wouldn’t be held to ransom over potential wage demands.
But it would appear, according to Blindside sources, that he is close to successfully negotiating the firs...
