Young Guns – Rhys Beeckmans

Rhys Beeckmans is feeling confident and relaxed in Newcastle Falcons’ setup as he targets further first-team action.
The 19-year-old centre, who has just transitioned from full-back, made his first team debut in January in a Challenge Cup match at the Ospreys.
Beeckmans can play inside or outside centre with equal ability but prefers the 12 jersey due to the increased contact.
He told The Rugby Paper: “My positional change has happened quite quickly, but it’s been a smooth process thanks to all the support around me.
