Kepu Tuipulotu could have played for Wales, Tonga or England but committed himself to the Red Rose and hopes to take advantage of Steve Borthwick’s ageing hookers.
The 5ft 9ins, 18st 1lbs Bath forward has rugby in his blood – his father Sione won 29 caps for Tonga, his sister Sisilia plays for Gloucester-Hartpury and Wales, while his cousin Carwyn plays for Pau in the Top 14.
Wales No.8 Taulupe Faletau and former England stars Billy and Mako Vunipola are also cousins.
