Young Guns – George Pearson

Tigers back three player George Pearson made his England U20s bow by scoring a try in last week’s win over Scotland.
Pearson, the younger brother of Coventry and Germany prop Henry Pearson, has nailed his colours to the England mast, hoping to feature in this summer’s World Championship as Mark Mapletoft’s side bid for back-to-back titles.
The 18-year-old is equally happy at fullback or wing, and after progressing through the U18s, the rangy runner at 6ft 2ins now hopes to kick on with club and country.
