Wales-born back row Kane James has opted to represent England due to the support received by U20s head coach Mark Mapletoft and the link with his club Exeter Chiefs.
James, 18, hales from Heaverfordwest and grew up playing for St Peters RFC in Cardiff with his father coaching him and remained with the Welsh club up until U16s.
He then moved to renowned rugby school Sedbergh in north west England for sixth form, where he was snapped up by local Premiership side Newcastle Falcons.
