After a long and illustrious international career, I’ve seen and been part of countless tournaments, matches and experiences that rate in either the top days of my life or some of the lowest darkest days that linger for months.
Having started my international career in 2003, I was fortunate enough to have a 15-year England career that spanned four World Cups.
These experiences are etched in my memory as if they were yesterday. Some good and some bad memories, but the overriding feeling is how proud I was and honoured to represent my country.
