Thomas was master in charge of a modern day golden age in Cornish rugby

ONE of the most revered figures at the Falmouth club was Dave Benji Thomas who died this year aged 83. Thomas was not only a great man of Falmouth and neighbouring Penryn, but also Cornwall rugby generally being the man who guided them to their miracle win in the 1991 County Championship final.
Thomas was from Mylor just up the estuary and learned his rugby at Falmouth GS before getting even more serious about the game while studying for his Phys Ed degree at Cardiff College of Education which was a hotbed of young rugby talent and modern coaching methods. ...
