The age-old debate of whether Wales is a football nation rather than a rugby nation reared its head last week when the Football Association of Wales proudly announced the results of a recent survey. Unsurprisingly, interest in the Gareth Bale-inspired Welsh team is up and the 1,000 sample survey puts football two per cent ahead of rugby as the most popular sport in the country.
