Two years have come and gone since Liam Williams retraced his steps from Saracens to Scarlets, the first superstar to be offloaded in the wake of the salary-cap scandal.
During those two years, the Welsh Lion has still to experience something which, pre-pandemic, would have been taken for granted, namely that a crowd turns up to watch him strut his stuff. It is a staggering fact that Williams has still to appear for the Scarlets other than behind closed doors.
