It really grinds my gears when there’s music on and someone feels the need to click their fingers over the song; it’s unnecessary, annoying and doesn’t enhance the enjoyment of the song in any way. My housemate Elliot does it all the time when we’re in the car together and he has a little smirk on his face while he’s doing it because he knows it winds me up. It’s not selective at all, either; he clicks his fingers to any genre.
