RUGBY agents and Premiership Rugby will this week hold a mediation meeting in London in a bid to settle the dispute over who pays players’ fees.
Both parties have had informal talks in the last month to reach a compromise agreement without success because the one mediator they could agree on was not available until this week.
Agents have been threatening a drain of talent from the Premiership to clubs abroad if clubs don’t go back to paying agents’ fees and not leaving players to pick up the tabs themselves.
