Gareth Williams (1980)
Rangy back rower well suited to hard grounds, did well in South Africa playing in one Test.
Mike Hall (1989)
Classy centre, toured Australia with Ian McGeechan’s Lions and played in the First Test.
Rob Howley (1997, 2001)
Was all set to be a Test starter in 1997 before injury. Started the first two Tests in 2001 before another injury.
Daffyd James (2005)
Much travelled wing, James was with Llanelli when he played in all three Tests in 2001, scoring a great try in Brisbane.
Gavin Henson (2005)
Missed out on World Cups but made the 2005 tour to New Zealand and despite a groin injury played in the Second and Third Tests.
Rhys Webb (2017)
Started the First Test against New Zealand and scored a try, won a second cap as a replacement in the drawn final Test.
Josh Navidi (2021)
Barnstorming Cardiff flanker, was a late call up for the South Africa trip but given little opportunity to shine.
