Kolbe’s tax bill set to rocket at Toulon

CHESLIN Kolbe, below, could find himself worse off following his recordbreaking move to Toulon thanks to the French tax system.
Your Blindside correspondent, who broke the news that the Springbok winger was in talks with Toulon on Twitter on Monday evening, understands Toulouse are delighted.
They have picked up a £1.54m transfer fee and got £770,000 wages off the books for a player who isn’t available for five months of the season because of international duty.
