Loughborough Lightning and Scotland star Helen Nelson had to stop playing rugby at the age of 12 as there weren’t enough girls to make up a team in her local area of Glen Coe.
The fly-half and centre took up the sport again six years later in her first year at Edinburgh University and hasn’t looked back since.
