HARLEQUINS are looking to complete a deal for Kiwi Tabai Matson to move to the Twickenham Stoop this summer amid late interest from Bath.
Former Bath head coach Matson is the clear favourite for the Quins job, vacant since Paul Gustard left the club.
But Bath have also sounded him out with boss Stuart Hooper under pressure following another disappointing season at The Rec.
Play-off bound Quins seem unlikely to announce any appointment until they have finished their season.
Meanwhile, they have secured Bath’s former England U20 international hooker Jack Walker.
