EDDIE JONES wanted Brett Hodgson, the new coach of Super League outfit Hull to work with England after skills coach Jason Ryles was stuck in Australia and missed the Six Nations.
Jones offered the job to Hodgson, 43, but the club blocked it.
Hodgson, who has worked as a consultant with Sale Sharks, is looking to get Jones up to Hull next month to host a couple of coaching sessions.
