PROFESSIONAL rugby in Wales is facing a fight for survival with the regions calling for a £30-40m injection to keep them alive.
Last week the chief executive of Cardiff Blues, Richard Holland, led the call for Welsh Government support. Now one of the most respected figures in the game, Ospreys chairman and current PRB board member Rob Davies, has demanded a “fair and proportionate share of state funding” to help keep the professional game afloat.
