Safety first but losing Boks is a huge blow

SOUTH Africa v New Zealand has always been the heavyweight clash in world rugby and the decision taken by the Boks not to play in the Rugby Championship this year is a huge blow to the global game.
In these strange times you can’t really quibble with the arguments put forward by the South African administrators for opting out of the tournament. Safety of players is paramount and they obviously felt there were too many risks and uncontrollable variables.
