EALING Trailfinders owner Mike Gooley has assured his players and coaches that their contracts will be honoured even if the Championship season is cancelled.
No date has been set for the restart of the second tier.
Some clubs are even advocating the season be abandoned because they cannot afford to play behind closed doors.
Trailfinders, who are set to face Newcastle Falcons in a doubleheader next month, haven’t played since the Championship season was cancelled in March.
