CABOUS Eloff was the hero for the Rebels against the Western Force with his late try settling a pulsating match 34-30 to book the Melbourne franchise a place in the SuperRugby AU knockouts.
Replacement loosehead prop Eloff came on for Cameron Orr on 74 minutes and provided the finishing touch from close range after Rebels fly-half Andrew Deegan had made the telling break.
Brought down just shy, Eloff was first to arrive at the ruck and went himself to score and complete a comeback that had looked beyond them.
