THE Brumbies regained top spot in Super Rugby AU with a convincing 38-11 victory over the Waratahs to supplant rivals Queensland Reds.
It was a six-try display for the hosts in Canberra who now take a two-point lead into the penultimate round of the competition next weekend.
Coach Dan McKellar made eight changes to the Brumbies starting line-up which lost to the Rebels last time out, and new man in Ryan Lonergan ensured they were first on the scoreboard albeit from an offside position.
