I made a joke and said I was happy coming off the bench last season, and then when Gareth got injured I had to do a full stint again. We complement each other very well – he brings the ability to open the game up, and I can finish games off. I suppose when a player like Gareth arrives it gives you an internal challenge, and it did spur me on a bit.
