Reading last week’s Sunday’s Times I was amazed at how pious and biased Stephen Jones comments were regarding rugby’s past.
According to Jones it seems that after a game, all Welsh players were and are innocent and wholesome while singing hymns and Christmas carols, while the English unleashed a barrage of sexist vulgar songs. Apparently, songs of such vulgarity that they slowed the progress of women playing the game.
