COVENTRY look to have late competition in their bid to land Lee Blackett as they look to replace head coach Nick Walshe.
The Championship side confirmed on Friday, just hours before their defeat to Ealing Trailfinders, that Walshe had left the club five weeks ago.
Blackett, now interim head coach following Dai Young’s departure, has spent the last five years at the club but is set to be left out in the cold this summer in a revamp of their staff.
