Volunteers step up to aid clubs caught in the storm

THE true spirit of Welsh rugby has been revealed in the flood-ravaged community clubs who battled all week to clean up after being devastated by Storm Dennis.
Last Sunday Bedwas and Cross Keys were submerged in five feet of dirty river water. It was a similar story at Blackwood, Newport HSOB and Risca.
After the flood came the big clean up as hundreds of volunteers stepped up to help.
It is almost back to business as usual for Bedwas who not only installed a temporary bar at their clubhouse for fans to support Wales against France, but also got their home clash in the National C...
