I always dreamt of being a Scarlets player growing up around Llanelli and going to the games at Stradey with my dad and grandad. In my position, fly-half, Colin Stephens was the main man around here then, and then Frano Botica came along. What a kicker he was.
Down here, with the reputation of the guys who wore the shirt before you, it’s probably the hardest position to play, because of the added pressure that came with that. I managed to make it into the first team, aged 18 – I think it was Neath away ...
