Saying sorry is the easiest thing for players trying to dodge a ban

DESPITE abuse from some old players who seem stuck in a time warp, Jerome Garces deserves to be congratulated for doing exactly what World Rugby demand of their top referees, showing no mercy to those guilty of hits to the head. How odd that the same hard-line policy does not seem to apply to the judicial panels appointed by the same World Rugby organisation.
