Farrell ‘needs to win RWC to captain the Lions’

OWEN Farrell would have to lead England to World Cup glory to stand any realistic chance of being Lions captain in South Africa.
That’s according to former Test wing Mark Cueto who would still only expect the Saracens star to get the nod for 2021 if Alun Wyn Jones retires or is injured.
Cueto insists Jones is “a shoo-in” right now to get the nod for the honour of leading the Lions and follow in the footsteps of Sam Warburton.
