My only ambition when I joined the London Irish Academy in 2003 was to make it through what was a very large and talented group of players that included the likes of Delon Armitage and Richard Thorpe. If you’d have told me then that I’d go on to become the club’s record try scorer and appearance maker as well as winning two caps for England, I’d have never believed you.
