ENGLANDcaptain Sarah Hunter has urged rugby’s rulers to consider a British & Irish Lions tour for women.
The No.8 got a taste of the Lions when England women played New Zealand as a curtain raiser ahead of the men’s game against the Maori All Blacks in Rotorua in 2017.
The women’s game breaks new ground today when England take on the Barbarians at Twickenham for the first time in their history.
And the 33-year-old says a female version of the Lions is the next step up.
