IT’S 20 years since I last laced up my boots and while I don’t miss the training one bit, I still miss the feeling of running out in front of tens of thousands of people for the big games.
I was fortunate in that I got to play in quite a few, including three consecutive Cup finals between 1991 and 1993 when the Cup was the prize that everyone wanted to win most above all others.
