Last men standing: Saracens are flying the flag in the Champions Cup

Iread a tweet last weekend celebrating the fact that of the 16 quarter-finalists in the European Cups, six are English and while that is factually correct, it can be best described as putting lipstick on a pig!
Of those six English clubs, only one, Saracens, are in the Champions Cup, the competition that really matters, while three of the Irish provinces and both of the Scottish teams have qualified.
