THEfinal round of fixtures before the long Christmas break saw the top half of the table reaffirm their title credentials with the only shock coming in Yorkshire where Leeds Beckett rediscovered their groove, comfortably beating high flyers Bath 36-18.
Beckett dominated a bruising encounter despite Bath initially leading through an Alex Burrage penalty and Chris Barry try.
Conor Lloyd’s penalty set Beckett off and they steadily grew their score through Harry Robinson, Trystan Lloyd and Charlie Venables tries.
