EBBW Vale snatched victory away from Cardiff thanks to a superb drop goal from Rhys Jones in the dying minutes at Eugene Cross Park.
Cardiff looked to have done enough to push their winning run into double figures but Jones’ late kick ensured their streak came to an end.
Lewis Young opened the scoring on 16 minutes when he benefitted from Rhys Clarke’s strong run to go over. Jones stepped up to add the conversion.
