SARACENS captain Brad Barritt has undergone surgery on the facial injury he sustained against Bath last Saturday. The former England centre, 32, was caught in the face with a stray boot and suffered a fracture to his cheek bone. Barritt missed the trip to play Harlequins yesterday and it is not known if he will be fit enough to return for the club’s first Champions Cup match at Glasgow Warriors on Sunday.
