BUCS returned with a bang with four Wednesday fixtures, the first kicking off at a sun drenched Lady Bay.
Nottingham Trent endured a torrid first year in BSR taking until March to register their maiden win. Loughborough who they’d never beaten awaited them in Round 1 and they duly rewrote the record books with a lasp gasp 29-27 victory.
