THE 2018-19 Principality Premiership began at the weekend amid a serious discussion over whether the league has any future in Welsh rugby.
It’s been a hot topic following the introduction of the new Under-23 or ‘A’ League, but I believe the division can still have a big role to play.
There’s been plenty to say on both sides of the argument in recent weeks, but I can only speak from experience and I believe the Premiership can still play a role in developing players.
