All Blacks aim for the solar plexus

THE continued domination of the Rugby Championship by New Zealand, reflected in their two runaway wins so far over the Wallabies in Sydney and Auckland, has highlighted their use of psychological warfare to demoralise opponents.
Both wins were notable for the All Blacks scoring tries just before the halftime whistle, and then within five minutes of the start of the second-half.
Anyone who has played the game knows that scoring either side of the interval inflicts maximum damage on morale, because psychologically it is like a double blow to the solar plexus.
