I SIMPLY can’t understand those who have spent the last week slamming Wales’ clash with South Africa in Washington.
Yes there were issues surrounding the game taking place outside World Rugby’s Test window and it making a financial loss with World Rugby having to bail out the USA who put the game on.
I get those arguments but the rest of the criticism is just plain wrong.
Why are we being so negative about a match that has a real degree of significance with next year’s World Cup in mind? I’ve read it supposedly devalues Test rugby.
