JEFF Hassler faces the prospect of starting next season without a club after turning down a £170,000-ayear contract extension with the Ospreys.
TRPunderstands Canada wing Hassler had the option of extending his deal by 12 months but declined that offer to pursue more lucrative options.
When no such offers were forthcoming from English and French clubs, Hassler indicated a change of heart but by that stage Ospreys had already signed George North. Namibian international back Lesley Klim has also arrived from Doncaster Knights.
